These simple and affordable one-piece taper reamers can be used for several woodworking tasks.

First-time Windsor chair makers will find the large reamer (3/16inch to 1-3/16inch) indispensable for tapering leg sockets. This tool is 5-1/2inch (140mm) long overall with a 5/16inch hex shank.

The included angle of 12.8 degrees on both reamer bodies matches the tenons made with the Veritas Tapered Tenon Cutters.

Designed for use in an electric drill; these tools may also be used in a traditional brace with an adapter.
