H/Duty Biesemeyer Style Tablesaw Fence and Rail
Description
This heavy duty fence and rail package can be retro-fitted to most saw benches with cast iron tables by simply drilling a few mounting holes in the vertical skirt of the table casting.
Biesemeyer style fences offer the most accuracy and repeatability of any tablesaw fence.
Features 30inch (760mm) scale.
Factory setup for a saw with a 685mm deep table (front to back distance). TThis can be modified up to an additional 180mm by drilling and taping the guide for the back rail (see photographs)
The front rail has a "L" bracket that needs to be attached to the saw using holes provided or by drilling new ones. Once this "L" bracket is mounted the rectangular front rail screws on to it. The Fence runs on and clamps onto this rectangular front rail.
There is a rear rail that you mount using the holes provided or by drilling new ones. The rear guide of the Fence runs on this rear rail.
Adjustment for tables of different depths can be achieved by moving the rear Fence guide. To do this you will need to drill and thread tap a new hole in the rear of the fence.
The fence has adjusters so that squareness of the Fence to the Saw Blade may be altered using grub screws. Moving both grub screw adjusters together alters the clamping force of the handle on the Fence.
