Description

A compact AA battery driven, high torque movement with a continuous sweep.

Great for clocks where silence is important, or a large continuous sweep second hand is needed like on a swimming pace clock.

Extended minute shaft feature to provide an increased distance between hour and minute hands to help prevent the longer hands from binding.

Easily accomodates counterweights commonly used on large minute hands.

Can operate up to a 254mm (10") second hand and up to 450mm (17 3/4") hour and minute hands.

This movement has
* an 8.7mm or 11/32" threaded shaft
* a 20.6mm or 13/16" total shaft length
* suits dials up to 8mm (5/16") thick
* an 8mm or 5/16" shaft diameter so a 3/8" (9.5mm) mounting hole is the correct size to drill in your case.
