West System or KlearKast
Description
Which product should you use?
West System Resin and the KlearKast are for different projects.
If you are looking to laminate or seal wood or you want a glossy coating then West System resins are ideal. They are high strength and cure relatively quickly. Coloured pigments can be added to enhance your woodturning, carving and other artistic endeavours.
If you are looking to make a river table or fill in deep cavities with resin, or you want to display something in resin then KlearKast is your best option. It is a deep casting resin with along working time.
ADH230 is not as strong as West System unless you post cure your resin product to prevent brittleness. This can be done, for example on a river table, by laying an electric blanket over the top for 24 hours.
